Frequently Asked Questions
Safety is paramount. Our instructors are certified range safety officers, we hold safety briefs prior to live-fire, and will coach safety procedures throughout the course. We have an AED and GSW first aid kit onsite for all activities.
Come as you are! We scale our training to accommodate each shooter at their individual level of experience. Our goal is to balance challenge with enjoyment.
- Pistol – Semi-automatic (9mm to .45 ACP) with (3) magazines. NO subcompacts
- Rifle – Semi-automatic (5.56mm to 7.62mm) with (3) magazines, sling, and optic. NO pistol caliber carbines (PCC)
- Magazine pouches – Rifle and pistol
- Belt – 1.5” minimum width and must be rigid/sturdy
- Holster – Polymer/Kydex outside the waistband (OWB) holster with retention. NO trigger finger release or SERPA style
- Plate carrier – Optional but encouraged (Men's 15lbs and women's 12lbs)
- Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) – Optional but encouraged
- Hearing protection – Electronic preferred
- Eye protection – Wrap around and ballistic rated
- Outdoor clothing – Sun clothing, warming layers, rain gear
- Footwear – Aggressive traction and ankle support
- Water, food, and snacks – Bring lunch
- Bug spray and sunscreen – Highly recommended
